One month after lock-down. Which is the situation in Italy?

On February 21st the first case of new coronavirus was registered in Italy and the first containment measures began in some municipalities in the North. On March 9 the national lockdown is decreed. Exactly one month after these massive social distancing measures, what have we learned about this virus? And above all, where are we in the fight against this pandemic? These are the issues addressed by the debate organized by the experts of the Facebook page "Coronavirus - Scientific data and analysis".

The infectious disease specialist Massimo Galli, director of the Infectious Diseases Department of the Luigi Sacco hospital in Milan, the theoretical physicist Federico Ricci-Tersenghi, of the Sapienza University of Rome, who from the beginning analyzed and provided important interpretative keys of the pandemic data, and risk communication expert Giancarlo Sturloni.
The debate was conducted by Giorgio Sestili, physicist and scientific popularizer, and Silvio Paone, research doctor in infectious diseases. Together they created the information and scientific dissemination project gathered around the Facebook page "Coronavirus - Scientific Data and Analysis" which in a few weeks has become a real media case and a reference point for scientific information on the new coronavirus.
