Decommissioning and reusing churches: issues and research perspectives. Call for posters and papers.

In the frame of the international conference about use and reuse of ecclesiastical heritage ā€“ event that will be held 29-30 November 2018 in Rome, promoted by Pontifical Council for Culture, in cooperation with Pontifical Gregorian University and National Office for ecclesiastical cultural heritage and worship buildings of the Italian Episcopal Conference ā€“ Politecnico di Torino ā€œR3Cā€ interdepartmental centre supports and coordinates a call for papers and posters on Decommissioning and reusing churches: issues and research perspectives.

The call aims to enhance and connect research focused on the regional and social dimension of reuse of ecclesiastical heritage, fostering an approach focused on responsibility of local communities, participation and resilience potential constituted by cultural heritage.

Detailed aims and important dates are indicated in the attached files; candidates must fill in and submit the attached template within 10 September 2018.
