LANDSCAPE RESILIENCE: FROM HERITAGE CONSERVATION TO ACTION @Venice Architecture Biennale, 11 November 2021

The seminar "LANDSCAPE RESILIENCE: FROM HERITAGE CONSERVATION TO ACTION" is organised within the framework of the Venice Architecture Biennale - Resilient Communities Venice in collaboration with R3C (Responsible Risk Resilience Centre).

The event aims to investigate the state of the art of international research on the topic of "Landscape resilience", which is increasingly central to the debate on integrated landscape management and the enhancement of local communities. However, the research produced so far has not resulted in a united front on this issue, with experiences that risk remaining isolated from each other and not producing synergistic effects. Therefore, this event intends to systemise these international experiences, channelling them towards a common research front, with the aim of producing future theoretical and operational reflections.

The event will be attended by:

Alessandro Melis (NYIT);
Francesca Abastante (Politecnico di Torino);
Isabella Lami (Politecnico di Torino);
