R3C collaborating in the event "Biennale Tecnologia": The great bridges in New York: how and why to treat them? @Politecnico di Torino, 12 November 2022

The built heritage is highly vulnerable, and the numerous structural collapses in recent years are the evidence. If these events affected the great bridges of New York, in addition to the potential loss of life and environmental damage, they would cause significant economic losses due to the interruption of activities, with direct impacts on climate change.

Raimondo Betti - Professor of civil engineering and engineering mechanics in Columbia University

Introduces:

Matteo Robiglio - Professor of Architectural and Urban Design at the Department of Architecture and Design of the Politecnico di Torino, of which he was coordinator of the College of Architecture from 2015 to 2018. He carries out research on the role of the project in the transformation of the city and the contemporary landscape.
